    PHP Part: http://magnet-dev.org/thread-10047.html
    Nginx Part: http://magnet-dev.org/thread-10018-post-10294.html

FYI, that part for PHP-FAST cgi in the nginx config will work with the PHP tutorial.

After testing and whatnot, Both running together used about 11mB of RAM and I noticed a slight speed increase in PHP compiling. = Faster page loads.

    Enjoy :).

What a waste of time when you can just use the lowendscript to bootstrap everything with a few shell commands?

Well, I can try to turn it into a shell script tonight, I just don't prefer using older software version such as the ones used by Debian and Ubuntu.

Like http://www.lowendbox.com has "X-Powered-By: PHP/5.2.6-1+lenny9" but the newest version of PHP is 5.3.3 which comes with a lot more features and security updates.

ok, a new part has been done for it as well, APC is now added in and it does not use as much ram as expected but offers an good speed increase though.

@qwizie -- the "newest version of PHP" also happens to use more memory, and from the point you compile from the source, it is YOUR responsibility to keep the version updated with any security issues. Whereas a standard Debian/Ubuntu builds would get security patches from upstream. In some sense it is probably even more secure.

@a2787382 -- WTF? Did you actually read the tutorial? That's no more than download the tarball, untar it, configure and make all! Hardly "tutorial" and all I can say is my forum has been spammed!
