They'll probably say guaranteed. That means for a dual quad core 8 hyper-thread 2.5GHz Xeon box there will be maximum 40 VPS with this spec.

This looks extremely similar to BurstNET's packages... Are you reselling from them?

That got to be one of the most often asked questions about TheServerExperts, and *their* answer would be "no"...

    Yeah, they do.

Scroll down to "Speed test" and you'll see a test IP.

The moment you whois it, you'll see it resolves to:

    IP address: 66.96.192.92
    Host name: 669619292.hostnoc.net
66.96.192.92 is from United States(US) in region North America

  8. Hello bk871,

I'am sorry to disappoint you but we own all our own servers, instead of renting servers like every normal Joe, we have a rent-to-own contract with hostnoc/burstnet, so yes those are our own hardware, but enough about that, iam not here to explain how to do business.

We own our all our own equipment (servers) but we use the hostnoc/burstnet network, hence why you would see hostnoc on the IP's although that can be changed easily with an swipe update.

Not sure why we keep getting the same question each time but it does get annoying after a while.

We also offer servers in New York, EZZI/AccessITx datacenter, and new VPS locations shall be available in the coming months, with same specification that made us famous.

    Thank you,

Could you give some info on what other locations are coming in the next months?
Also do you offer ipv6 addresses with your VPSes?

    @TheServerExperts

    It seems fishy though because:

    1) You've copied BurstNET's plan specifications exactly.
    2) You link to the exact same things as them, such as vePortal & the firewall.
    3) vePortal is almost obsolete

Can you provide something showing that you aren't a reseller?

I'm not saying you're a reseller for [all] your services, just Scranton.

Not trying to be a jerk, I just want to know.

    Cheers.

Speeds are OK. Anyone a client with them - Be good if we could get an IP to see whether it's BurstNET reselling or not.

Never heard of rent-to-own in the hosting industry. I own my own equipment for my servers and make a point of tell folks so. I've worked with hosts who have had their equipment taken back from underneath them due to non payment. Since it's my own equipment, that won't happen. Although granted I could forget to pay for my bandwidth I guess...

And maybe you get the same question all the time since this is information that should be provided. Maybe those average Joes are a little more intelligent than you give them credit for.

@Drmike - SharedLayer did offer rent to own services but they now seem to have taken their website down. basicly you purchase the server from the company and then they have it hosted for you.

Never heard of rent to own? wow you must be new to the hosting industry. Rent to own servers feature server financing over a set period of months, allowing a capital strapped customer from the initial large expense of purchasing a server. RTO server's are subscribed to as dedicated servers with part of your monthly payment going torwards the cost of the server. Once the set period of months has been reached, the server ownership is transferred to you. You then convert to a colocation plan, benefiting from asset ownership.

We are not a reseller, we own all our own nodes, servers, and other equipment. We do use burstnet and ezzi/accessitx network upstream.

9 years in the hosting business, we are not here to play games.

    1) These packages are copied all over, they are very popular specification.
    2) We use their DC, we use their network upstream, how hard is it to understand? i guess you never did collocation.
    3) That is your personal opinion, many of client love vePortal.

Instead of trying to be a online-detective why don't you sign up and give us a try...

    @ TheServerExperts

I apologize if I'm incorrect, I just want to know.

If you can provide me with the vePortal login URL, and if it's different then BurstNET's, I will post an apology here for everyone to see :)
