Can someone tell me what is the best VPS I can get (RAM/Bandwidth wise) for each dollar? Other than 2host, I want to know if there is any other (No vz, no openvz, virtuozzo, etc - they are completely unusable for me, apps crash within minutes) VPS provider that can do this

I am a student and don't have much to spend, so cap around 10,- P/m.

    Thanks lowendbox

(btw, if possible, I'd like to know soon.. my old server is expiring soon and I can't afford another month of it, been using a dedicated server ($20/m))

I'd have posted on wht but they would just laugh me out saying something about overselling.

I do not think anyone can tell you which one is the best. Some can probably tell you which ones are shady, but depending on your need, "best" can be very subjective.

2Host is good enough to me. I also use Virpus and Fivebean which are not bad.

I have VPSes on VPSLink and Elite Data Hosting (the latter bought on a whim from a posting here) and both have been very reliable. No complaints. I use XEN-based VPSes so that I get swap; I assume this is what you want.

    I'm fine with quickweb.

Gotta admit though that if you can get a dedicated box that you;re happy with for $20, I'd stick with that. That's fairly cheap and what most typical vps'es run at least.
