Hi, BitEntity was recently set up by a group of technology enthusiasts who have one aim, to provide cheap, quality Virtual Machines. We're here for the long run, we have multiple investors who are continuously helping us expand our offerings.

In the future we plan to offer Xen alongside OpenVZ

We are currently offering the following for $5.99 :
    Guaranteed RAM : 256MB
    Burst RAM : 512MB
    HDD : 50GB
    Bandwidth : 2TB
    IP Addresses 1

An extra IPv4 is $1 per address.
For a block of IPv6, it is free (only distributed upon request of customer).

@BitEntity: the offer looks great. However having a fake-phone number within the whois of your domains isn't exactly what gives a good feeling

Hi, thanks for alerting me to this dirkb.
    Ill fix it now :)

Also communism, the hardware nodes are on full 100mbps, but each virtual machine is limited to 10 (hard limit). Its only in the interest of all of our users that we do this. Since we have unlimited bandwidth packages, which we realise a lot of users look for, its not always fair or possible to let them share a 100mbit connection.

Scranton, PA? Wouldn;t that be a Burstnet reseller?

Not saying anything against them (I;ve never used Burstnet myself) but I know some folks look down on them.

We are definitely not a Burst reseller. We have our dedicated box with them, but we don't resell off their nodes.

In the distant past, i have had good experiences with them. However people just seem to make time to post negative things about them rather than a nice review if their service is good (im not saying everybody should, but it might balance out the ratio of bad/good reviews and they wouldn't get so much hassle all the time about being rubbish).

Their customer support response times from my experience are quite good, however the people employed to do it not so good.

@drmike - They aren't offering the same plans as Burst so I don't how your comment is valid.

    Wasn't a comment, it was a question.

@drmike - not really, was a rhetorical question, and therefore a statement disguised as a question.

Sorry but no, it was a question followed by the reason why I was asking. You're not my ex fiancee. You can't read my mind.

Having worked with a large number of datacenters, some better than others, the stated datacenter is one of the first things that I look for. For example, I won't deal with ev1/theplanet and in fact have them blocked from my users due to continues abuse problems that never get resolved.

Sorry if you folks can;t understand that.

Some things never change, bad provider (datacenter) = bad VPS. :) Drimke was right.

Again, I wasn't saying that it was a bad idea. Just wanted clarification and showing why I wanted it.

    Sheeze. :(
